Kabuoang 31,408 qualified Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) ang nakaboto ngayong 2025 Midterm Elections.
Ayon sa Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), katumbas nito ang 92.74% ng PDL voter’s turnout.
Nasa 29,784 PDL ang bumoto ‘on-site’ sa 473 special polling places, habang 1,624 PDLs ang bumoto ‘off-site.’
Bukod dito, kabuoang 33,866 PDL voters sa Elections Day Computerized voter’s list o Posted computerized voter’s list na binubuo ng 30,579 male inmates at 3,297 female inmates.
“The right to suffrage is a fundamental constitutional right that is not automatically lost unless a person has been convicted by final judgment of a crime punishable by disqualification.’’ sabi ng BJMP.
