Nanawagan si Pangulong Bongbong Marcos Jr. sa lahat ng kanyang Cabinet secretaries na magpasa ng kanilang resignation kasunod ng hindi maayos na kinalabasan ng halalan.
Ayon kay Pangulong Marcos, sawa na ang mga tao sa pulitika, kailangan na ng aksyon.
“This is not business as usual. The people have spoken, and they expect results, not politics, not excuses. We hear them, and we will act,” anang Punong Ehekutibo
Layunin ng hakbang na ito na magbigyan ng pagkakataon ang pangulo na i-evaluate ang performance ng bawat departamento at malaman kung sinu-sino ang maaari pang magsilbi sa ilalim ng administrasyon.
“This is not about personalities—it’s about performance, alignment, and urgency,” dagdag pa ng Pangulo.
Iginiit ng Malacañang na ang hakbang na ito ay nakatuon sa performance-driven approach.
Pagtitiyak din ng Palasyo sa publiko na hindi nito maaapektuhan ang government services.
Sa Press Briefing, sinabi ni Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro na hindi nagustuhan ng pangulo ang performance ng ilang Cabinet Members pero hindi pinangalanan ang mga ito.
